First Glance

First Glance is a youth center that operates in the Kenmore neighborhood of Akron. Kenmore is our home, our family & our community. For over 19 years, we’ve hosted a wide variety of programming for students of all ages. We offer teenagers and young adults a safe place where they are loved, valued and ultimately, through Christ, we provide them with hope. We have seen over 5,000 different students come through our doors and leave as a part of our family, empowered to reach their potential & become who they were created to be.

It was great to give back. Anytime you can volunteer to help others is a wonderful feeling!

It was great helping those less fortunate than us as a TA Team! It meant a lot for them to notice our shirts & know we, as a company, wanted to take time out of our business lives to do this.

It was nice to all work together, and see what we accomplished. The charity we chose is one I've worked with for years, it was cool to bring a group in to help them.

It was rewarding to spend time with neighbors within our own community and know that our efforts were making a difference in their everyday lives.

It was great to see the employees come together as one unit and work for an amazing charity.
